We announce the death of Ruth M Crilly of East Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on August 18, 2026. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Roger; and her sister Grace Majka. She is survived by: her family Ruth; her children, Maryann Crilly (Tom Schaller) of Helmetta, NJ., Roger Crilly (Sherri) of Toms River, NJ and Joe Crilly (Erin Cain) of Placerville, CO.; her grandsons, Scott Crilly (Chelsea), Jeff Crilly (Sara Maraliese) and Kevin Schaller (Anita); her stepgrandchildren, Jen (Greg Collins) and Mike Schaller (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Eva Schaller, Bennett Schaller, Otto Crilly, Thomas Schaller and Tyler Schaller.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rossi Funeral Home (1937 Westfield Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (1571 Martine Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076). A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in memory of Ruth to a charity of your choice.
