He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent James and Rose Sapone; his brother Frank Sapone (Clara); his sisters-in-law, Janet Tamburrino and Patricia Glocksen; and his cousin Michael Orapello.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his daughters, Sandra (Ken) and Denise (Michael); his grandchildren, Michael, Dylan, Katherine and Samantha; his sister Maryann Sapone; his cousin Janice Orapello; and his brother-in-law Nicholas Tamburrino.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization devoted to advancing cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases.
