He is survived by: his wife Lita; his daughter Corie Yungher (Don) of Morris Plains; his granddaughters, Adeline and Ruby; his son Ira Guberman (Leanna Lynch) of Jersey City; and his sisters, Linda Kamin (Martin) of Boynton Beach and Joy Feldman (Robert) of Monroe.

“Hi, just read about Wayne's passing. Terribly sorry. He was my roommate at Rutgers my freshman year. He was a senior and no senior wanted a freshman roommate. But Gubes, as he liked to be called was unbelievable generous with his friendship and introducing me to the other seniors in our dorm, Demarest. We were in 338. So that helped me get on the Rutgers radio station where I became program director, ultimately moving to L A after graduation to produce and write television. Wayne helped me get”
