He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Caldwell Dickerson, Sr. and Ollie R. Romine Dickerson; his siblings, Preceding and Dr. Harold G. Dickerson; and his son Micheal Dickerson, Jr. (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Lisa G. Dickerson; his children, Adrian Dickerson of New York and Tyrell K. Dickerson of Maplewood; his siblings, Norman C. Dickerson Jr. (Bertha), Charles O. Dickerson of Huntsville, Stephen Dickerson, Brian Dickerson of New York, Joyce D. Martin of Madison, Diane D. Broome of Atlanta and Pamela Dickerson of Dover, Delaware.; his mother-in-law Kimberly Williams; his siblings-in-law, Thurston Greene (James Williams) and Ebony Dickerson; his daughter-in-law Ebony Dickerson; and his grandchildren, Mya, Michael III and Adrian, Jr.. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 15th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Messiah Baptist Church (13 Oak St, East Orange, NJ 07018). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 15th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
