He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Collins; his son John Patrick Collins; his grandson Cole Collins; his daughter-in-law Bernadette Toner Collins; Sue Gnadinger and Justin Gnadinger.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Eatontown SPCA.
