He is survived by: his son Joseph Berger; his daughter-in-law Diane Berger; his daughter Shelley Berger (Joe McElwee); his grandchildren, Lauren Berger and Courtney Nappi (Mike); his great grandchildren, Gianna and Nicolette; his friends, Carl, Michael Navotta, Karen, Carmella Carter, Filomena Arronezi, Sharyn, Elka and Sunny; Jean Marie McElwee, Pat Dasher (McElwee), Matt, Katie, Andy, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Tony, Little John and Lisa.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Chabad Cemetery (199 Hunt Ave, Hamilton Township, NJ 08610).
