He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Kenneth Mead and Margaret Mead; and his sister Melody Olin. He is survived by: his wife Kathy A. Mead; his sons, Derek Mead (Carla) and Sean Mead; his grandchildren, Peyton, Carter and Harper; and his brother David Mead (Patti). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

“To both Kathy and Dave Mead - I found out from Lou DiLissio that Larry passed away on 2/7/25. He was the BEST Athlete that I played with in our years at BCHS. He was a true friend and I remember both he and I laughed when the yearbook came out and we were BOTH named “Most Popular” . Rest in peace my friend and I will always remember you. Robert A. Matarese”
