He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Pyka and Wanda Pyka; his brother George; and his son Adam. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole; his sister Grace (Bill); his nephews, Brian and Bill (Brittney); and also Hailey.

Due to the current pandemic a private burial service is being held by the family.
