“I met Amy about 25 years ago at our writing group--and how lucky I was to get to know her a bit over the years even after I moved away and stopped attending the group, with occasional phone chats, visits, and social media. She was a fierce proponent of truth and did not hesitate to say whatever she had to, to be herself no matter what. She suffered from many illnesses over the years with grace and dignity and again, truth. She was a beautiful, creative soul, and I wish it peace. Love, Nicole”
