It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Bekiaris of Edison, New Jersey, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Christos; her son Christopher Bekiaris; her sister Elvira Hauser; and her friend Ethel. She is survived by: her daughter Aphrodite Scicchitano (Adam); her grandchildren, Alexa Canas (Chris) and Adam Scicchitano (Vicky); and her great grandchildren, Travis, Tyler, Stella, Adam and Madison.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (1101 River Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Franklin Memorial Park (1800 NJ-27, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902).
