He is survived by: his parents, Michael Schaefer and Joyce Pekitis Schaefer; his brothers, Matthew and Kevin; his sister-in-law Angel; his nieces, Myah Petit-Frere and Mia Sastre-Schaefer; and his grandmother Ann Ryan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
