He was predeceased by: his parents, Verona Mozgai and Daniel L. Mozgai Sr.; and his siblings, Dennis "Mo" Mozgai and Joyce Bashew. He is survived by: his children, Patricia "Tricia" Mozgai and Daniel L. Mozgai III; his grandson Hunter West (PeeWee); his sister LaVerne "Cookie" Simonelli; his nieces, Janice Simonelli, Jill Simonelli, Joyce Rosenberg and Lynne Bashew; and his former wife Patricia Mozgai-Lupo.
