He was predeceased by: his father William Brett; and his siblings, Kay Rich and William Brett. He is survived by: his wife Laura Ann Berzinski; his sons, David (Michelle), Raymond (Amanda) and Steven (Alana); his grandchildren, Dylan Matthew, Brielle Alexis, Shane Michael, Brandan George, Reece Nicholas, Quinn David and Jack Murray; and his pets, Nash and Knox. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in David's name.
