He was predeceased by: his parents, James Keane and Mary Keane (McCann); his brother Tommy Keane; and his stepdaughter Kristine Cassidy. He is survived by: his wife Marie Keane (Costello) of Edison; his children, Brian Keane (Katherine Yutzey) of Cincinnati, OH, Donna Fry of Edison, Michael Keane (Michelle Sarver) of Edison and Kelly Friel (Greg) of Hoboken; his stepson Michael Johnson; and his sister-in-law Bernie Ludwig (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Francis Cathedral (32 Elm Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840).
