Joan Kukura Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Kukura of Edison, New Jersey, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice DeStephan and Frank DeStephan (Joan); her husband Joseph Kukura; her siblings, Joseph DeStephan and Rosalie DeStephan; her sons-in-law, Brian Scoda and Mike Forte; and her grandson Frankie Berndt.
She is survived by: her brother Ken DeStephan (Ethel); her children, JoAnn Forte, Francis Berndt (Lynn), Joseph Berndt (Stephanie), Linda Scoda and Mary Ellen Hobler (Frank); her grandchildren, Nicole Forte, Cody Forte, Danielle Latkovitch, Kelly Duff, Brian Scoda, Michelle Scoda, Sarah Hobler and Megan Hobler; her great grandchildren, Joey Latkovitch and Keno Berndt; and her sister-in-law Joan DeStephan.
In lieu of flowers their family request donations to The Alzheimer's Association.
