He was predeceased by: his siblings, Thomas, Michael, Lawrence, Jane, Seamus, Theresa and Christine.

He is survived by: his wife Helena Mulligan of Dublin, Ireland; his children, Catherine of Edison, Valerie Duhigg (Michael) of East Brunswick and Vincent Mulligan (Jane) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Nicolette, Michael, Cassidy Duhigg and Kevin Mulligan; his brother Vincent Mulligan (Ireland) of Dublin; and his close friend Judy.
