He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. and Mary; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Pamela of Edison; his son Victor Calantoni (Karen) of Metuchen; his grandsons, Thomas Leo Calantoni and Nicholas James Calantoni; and his daughter Melissa Ruling of Florida.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Cemetery.
