She was predeceased by: her parents, Subbaiah Myla and Kanthamma Kanaparthi Myla; and her husband Samuel John Vemuri. She is survived by: her children, Emmanuel R. J. Vemuri and Mary K. Chelli (Thiophilous); her grandchildren, Joshua Chelli (Roshni), Sarah Chelli and Rebecca Chelli; and her great grandchild Elijah. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister; and many nieces and nephews.
