She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony "Nino"; her daughter Antonia; her parents, Michael Cerrito and Elizabeth Cerrito (Lombardi); and her siblings, Leonard Cerrito and Hilda Scapicchio.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Petz (Timothy) of Edison, Cynthia Shaffery (Mark) of Brick and Rosalie Roe (George) of Edison; her son-in-law Robert Hurst (Ellen) of Edison; her grandchildren, Timothy Petz Jr. (Jessy), Michael Petz (Joanna), Melissa Shaffery (Michele), Christina Levitz (Danny) and Steven Roe (Nicole); and her great grandchildren, Gianna, Jayden and Nora.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
