Louise Smorol Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Louise Smorol of Edison, New Jersey is shared. Louise, born on December 3, 1934, passed away on October 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony D'Alessandro and Angelica D'Alessandro (Marenghi); her husband John; and her brother Joseph. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen (Walter) and Barbara; her grandchildren, Tracy (Ryan), John (Jennifer), Kristy (David), Jacqueline (Ross), Christopher (Margaret) and Jamie; her sister Mary; and her sister-in-law Marie. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home (660 New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ 08820). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St John Vianney RC Church (420 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067). An entombment will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
