Marguerite M. Lipsit Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marguerite M. Lipsit of Edison, New Jersey, who passed away on May 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Charnley and Margaret Charnley; her husband Robert C. Lipsit, Sr.; her brothers, Thomas Charnley, Rev. George Charnley and Joseph Charnley; and her siblings-in-law, Doug Gowen, Richard Lipsit and Melinda Charnley.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Matusiewicz (Brian) of Edison, NJ, Cathy Jones (Tim) of Metuchen, NJ and Robert; her siblings, Mary Jo Gowen, Katie Malnar (Greg), Barbara Kozlowski (David), Sheila Hoetger, Mary Ellen Kator (David) and Peter Charnley (Debra); and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Charnley, Dolores Charnley and James Lipsit. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, four step-grandchildren and many other extended family.
