She was predeceased by: her son Richard; and her brother Albert. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Robert of Alpha, Susan Youmans (Jerry) of East Brunswick, John of Flanders, Christopher (Amanda) of Palos Verdes, CA and Eric (Erica) of Bridgewater; her brother Paul May of Palm Coast, FL; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Jill, Amy, Ian, Brian, Erica, Anabel, Matthew, Travis, Gabriella, Kaija, Ryan and Zachary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, of which she was a survivor since 1979, or Princeton Theological Seminary where her Uncle Philip May (father's brother) was a graduate and missionary in West Africa for 25 years.
