Mark leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mark’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mark will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his brother Brian Scoda; and his son Kevin Scoda. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Scoda of Red Bank, NJ; his fiancée Carol Febles of Edison, NJ.; his brothers, Raymond Scoda (Gail) of Piscataway, NJ and Michael Scoda (Dawn) of Marlboro, NJ; and his sister-in-law Linda Scoda of Edison, NJ. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gosselin Funeral Home (660 New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ 08820). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St Helena RC Church (950 Grove Ave, Edison, NJ 08820). A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (1401 Woodland Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mark's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
