He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Serak and Charles Serak; his daughter Phyllis Ann Serak; and his siblings, Helen Serak, Anna Serak, Mary Talabiska, Barbara Kmech and John Serak.

He is survived by: his wife Philomena Caroccia Serak; his daughters, Barbara Peterson (Norman) of Glen Gardner, Loretta McNamara (Peter) of Manahawkin and Rose Richter (Alan) of Ocean City; his grandchildren, Norman Peterson, Michael Peterson, Peter McNamara and Melissa Campbell; and his great grandchildren, Norman, Evelyn, Wesley, Luke and Holden. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
