“Oscar was a wonderful person and a master furrier. When my father passed away in 1986 my Italian mother Josephine Fekety was going to finally buy herself her first mink coat, she wanted me to take her to Macy's. I said no Mom, I think I know someone who will make you a much better coat. She agreed and we went to the salon in Metuchen. Mr. Lowey and his elegant wife welcomed my mother and treated her like she was a friend. They made the mink and many others afterwards for her. Nancy Fekety”
