He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Sr. (Rose Ann Bartus) and Edison. He is survived by: his wife Donna Bartus; his children, Kimberly DeMaio (Andrew DeMaio) of Hillsborough and Robert W. Bartus (Ali Bartus) of Piscataway; his brother Daniel Bartus, Jr. of Woodbridge; and his grandsons, Jackson Daniel DeMaio and Leo Robert Bartus.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home - Woodbridge (44 Green St, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095). A prayer was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions in Robert's memory be made to The Calvin Hungarian Reformed Church of Woodbridge, 94 North James Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
