Ronald William Stopford Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald William Stopford of Edison, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Renate; his parents, Leonard Stopford and Alice Stopford; and his siblings, Susan, James, Leonard Jr., Robert and Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Stopford (Lucy) of Irvine, CA and Bettina Stopford; his siblings-in-law, Heino and Waltraudt Muller of Leipzig, Germany; his siblings, Edward Stopford (Jill), Mike and Barb Green; and his grandchildren, Orianna, Maxine, Veronica, Nate and Carly. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Civile Cucina Italiana (154 Main St, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A burial was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM.
