She is survived by: her children, Sharon Heintjes (Robert) of Edison, Pamela Merten of Las Vegas, Peggy Conaty of Fords and William L. Merten (Mary). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home (139 Westfield Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07208). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (220 Mt Olivet Ave, Newark, NJ 07114).
