He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pittman and Ethel Griffith; his wife Rose "Rosie" Valentino; and his grandson Anthony Pittman. He is survived by: his children, Linda Pizzaia (Bob), Rosemary McLaughlin (Michael), Lisa Pittman and Eddie Pittman; his grandchildren, Bob Pizzaia Jr. (Pam), Christina Miller (Brandon), Danny Pizzaia, Nicholas Pizzaia (Gina), Michael McLaughlin, David McLaughlin, Emily Pittman and Maddie Pittman; and his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Juliana, Gabby, Ben, Joseph, Joshua, Briana and Eliana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hollywood Memorial Park and Cemetery (1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
