He was predeceased by: his sister Wen-Chuan Liu. He is survived by: his wife Helen W. Tao; his sons, Donald K. Tao (Jacqueline Fung), Patrick K. Tao (Andrea) and Curtis K. Tao (Lisa Colone); and his siblings, David, Alan Tao and Linda Eng. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (899 E Lincoln Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854).
