He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Edward and Miriam Gehres; his wife Madeline Gehres (Regina); his daughters, Linda Gilbert and Laurie Glass; and his close friend JoAnne Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Berge (Steve) and Earl Michael Gehres (Melissa); his sister Gay Somerson; and his grandchildren, Lisa Fireall, Philip Martyn, Julia Mastalski, Justin Jenkins, John Jenkins, Kristin Mancini, Stacey Davis, Stephanie Berge, Michael Gehres, Matthew Gehres and Mason Gehres. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, along with many relatives and dear friends.
