He is survived by: his wife Patricia Getty (Cray); his children, Patricia Couchoud (Seth), Melissa, George III, Samuel, Zechariah (Abigail) and Sarah Getty; his grandson Logan Getty; and his siblings, Bill Getty, Kathy Sear and Eleanor Dodd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
