He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Taylor, Sr. and Elizabeth Smith-Taylor (Smith); and his brothers, Rocky Lee and Edward Smith. He is survived by: his close friend Gerald Tillman; his wife Sandra E. Taylor; his children, Bridgette Thompson, George A. Taylor, Diane Michelle Buster, Mildred Taylor, Michael Taylor, Roaquel Clark and Maurice E. Evans; his siblings, Eugene E. Smith, Sr. (Shirley), Linda Mae Edwards (Tom), Maxine B. Smith, LaVern Brown and Robert Lee Hutt; and his grandchildren, Devon, Samira of Michelle, KJ, Zoin, Sevyn, Nori, Alaia and Khais.
