John Darmody Dower Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Darmody Dower of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to John Darmody's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John Darmody has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert and Edna; and his sister Suzanne. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his sons, Kevin and Matthew; and his grandchildren, Ava and Carter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, in honor of John's lifelong commitment to helping others.
