He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Layton and Beulah Chevers. He is survived by: his children, Robert, Shelly, Carol, Pye, John Jr., Jeffrey and Machele; and his wife Rachel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery (2301 English Creek Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234).
