We announce the death of Keith Shumaker of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 67. Keith will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabel Gibb and William Shumaker. He is survived by: his children, Michelena Dutton (Brandon) and Nicholas Shumaker (Lindsey); his sister Linda Parr; his siblings-in-law, Kirk Parr, Fred Barone and Donna Barone; his cousins, Scott and Monica Gibb; his pet Stella; Debbie. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Church (5021 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Richard E. Squires Veterans Cemetery (109 NJ-50, Mays Landing, NJ 08330).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Park Foundation (https://www.nationalparks.org) to ensure current and future generations get to witness the beauty Shouy treasured in our national parks.
