He is survived by: his wife Elsa (Mercado); his children, Orlando Rivera (Mima), Marilyn Rivera (Hector), Shauna Sykes (Sammie), Tamara Pezzotti (Juan) and Gina Eberly; his grandchildren, Francisco, Nashalie, Arlene, Kelvin, Kenneth, Shaquile, Saige, Sydney, Saralyn, Eric, Gianna and Sophia; and his siblings, Gamaliel Rivera, Aida Rivera (Alex), Maritza Martinez (Jose Luis) and Edith Cordero (Luis). He is also survived by nephews, godchildren, and cousins.
