With sadness, we share the passing of Angel L. Rodriguez of Elizabeth, New Jersey. Angel, born on February 14, 1943, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Angel for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Angel’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He is survived by: his wife Dominga Rodriguez; his daughters, Margarita Matos (Luis Matos) and Omaira Wynne; his grandchildren, Daniel, Jaquelyn, Brianna and Ariana; and his sisters, Ana Hilda Rodriguez and Ada Rosa Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home (1055 E Jersey St, Elizabeth, NJ 07201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Angel's memory.
