It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Askew of Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jessie Edwards and Mary Mitchell Edwards. She is survived by : her children, Sharon Gaillard of East Orange, NJ, Karen Askew of East Orange, NJ and Darrell Askew (Marla) of Hexalena, NC; her siblings, Mary Phyllis Graham of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Thelma Deloatch (Bobby) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, James Edwards (Carmen) of Boston, MA and Jerry Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Tatiyana Amons, Mariyah Baldwin, Benjamin Lee and Alaia Askew. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
