She was predeceased by: her father Juan Rojas; her brother Sergio Rojas; and her husband Humberto Benitez. She is survived by: her siblings, Oneida Duran and Luis Mario Rojas; her daughters, Jacqueline Cid (Jorge Cid) and Gilma Bellofatto (Donald Bellofatto); her grandchildren, Veronica Cid, Christina Rivera (Marcos Rivera), Christopher Bellofatto and Jillian Bellofatto; and her great grandchild Marcos Dali Rivera. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Contributions in memory of Gilman can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Elizabeth, NJ.
