She is survived by: her son John Bender, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Peggy Bender (Miller); her granddaughter Diane; her grandson-in-law Evan Smith; her granddaughter Lori; her grandson-in-law Dave Starr; her great grandchild Aurora Starr; and her great great grandchildren, Briar Rose and Lila Rain Batz.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pour yourself your favorite cocktail and toast to Janie's memory and smile in her honor, as that is exactly the way that she would prefer to be celebrated.
