It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynette J Battle of Elizabeth, New Jersey, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Caldwell Tucker and Evelyn Davis; and her siblings, Jackie, Maxine and Oliver.

She is survived by : her brother James Davis of Columbia, SC; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah III (Jenneé), Jessica Battle of Silver Springs, MD, Laquan Heading of Ewing, NJ, Darryl Battle, Jr. of Pemberton Twp, NJ, Brittany (De'Adrea Battle), D'Andre Battle of Silver Springs, MD, Darale Battle of Raleigh, NC, Diante Battle of Ewing, NJ, Charles III, Chelsea, Chad and Charity Daniels of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
