It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marianne Catherine Papantouros of Elizabeth, New Jersey, born in Hillside, New Jersey, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Marianne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marianne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Evans Papantouros; her children, Dana Romano, Laura Papantouros and Christopher Papantouros; her brother Charles Mushalko, Jr.; and her grandsons, Joseph and Zachary Romano.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
