She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Keene and Alma Girard Keene; her siblings, John L. Keene, Jr. of Taunton, MA, Joseph Keene of Taunton, MA, Bernadette Keene McDonnell of Brockton, MA and Raymond Keene; and her daughter-in-law Karen Zagorski Bernier.

She is survived by: her husband Edward J. Bernier of Nazareth, PA; her children, Christopher Bernier (Carole Prymuszewski), Daniel Bernier, Matthew Bernier, Edward M. Bernier (Francine Sitarski Bernier), Regina Swierc (Robert Heasty), Timothy Bernier (Giovanni Manalo) and Mariette; her grandchildren, Robert Americk (Jill Slavinski Americk), Edward M. Bernier, Jr., Brandon Bernier, Christian Swierc, Thomas Bernier, John Bernier, Samantha Turner Castro (William Castro), Eric Turner (Kristin Mazza Turner) and Matthew Turner; and her great grandchildren, McKenna Americk, Jonathan Turner and James Turner.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home (2124 E St Georges Ave, Linden, NJ 07036). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Genevieve's Church (200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, NJ 07208). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Graceland Memorial Park (1801 Galloping Hill Rd, Kenilworth, NJ 07033).
