Rose leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rose’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Rose will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Juran and Anna Juran; her husband William VanDeventer; and her sister Joan Hatton. She is survived by: her nieces, Hope Lee Hatton of Hawaii and Joy Lynn Schmitz (Richard) of Oklahoma; her nephew Robert W. Hatton (Tracy) of Pennsylvania; her great-nephews, Stephen and Michael Hatton; Pandora Hatton. She is also survived by her great nephews, and later for her great-great niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home (2124 E St Georges Ave, Linden, NJ 07036). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption (155 Washington Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07202). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Saint Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
