He was predeceased by: his wife Rosina Marano. He is survived by: his children, Filomena Karabinchak, Antoinette Mistretta (Paul), Anthony Marano, John Marano, Carmella Colella and Carmine Marano (Doris); his grandchildren, Melissa Barto, Paul Mistretta Jr., Nicole Augburn, Gabrielle Colella, Antonio Colella, Alexis Modreski, Christian Marano and Rebecca Marano; and his great grandchildren, Timothy, Adelyn, Bella, Annabeth, John and Athena.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A Mass was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Theresa Church (541 Washington Ave, Kenilworth, NJ 07033). A burial was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery South (52 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
