With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lisa A. DeCato of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lisa left this world on October 21, 2025 at the age of 55, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her boyfriend Joe Kopko of Elmwood Park; her parents, Sharon Buis (Gorman) and Andrew Buis, Jr.; her aunt Jo-Ann Laubach of Cedar Grove, N. J.; her siblings, Magie Trinidad (Mike) of Bethlehem, PA and Heather DeCato of West Milford, N. J.; and her niece Julie Warner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home (557 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (52 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
