She is survived by: her daughter Shalanda Lee-Esserry; her grandsons, Komal Sharod, Nazzir Krishna and Jeremiah Isaiah Keith Esserry; her siblings, Janett Miller (Mike Miller), Annette Reed, Judy Newkirk, Sheila Clark, Michelle Booker, Deanna Booker, Clifton Bryant and William Booker; her stepbrother Preston Brinson; her brothers, Norman Brinson (Daniel) and Emanuel Brinson; her niece Cherie L. Reed; and her nephew Sharod Rawls. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
