He was predeceased by: his parents, Cira Canavan and Peter Canavan; and his sister Patricia Petrowski. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his son Peter Canavan (Caryn) of Wayne, NJ; his stepdaughter Edvie Marie Castro (Jean Carlos) of Wayne, NJ; his brothers, Bob (Julia Bryan) of Raleigh, NC, Joe (Rosemary) of Dayton, NJ and Fred (Mary Jane) of North Salem, NY; and his brother-in-law Tom Petrowski of Wayne, NJ.
