He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Champaben Thakkar; and his children, Vijay Thakkar (Bhavana), Kalpana Thakkar (Jagdish) and Hetal Thakkar (Alpa). He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
